+ NV Broadbent - Vinho Verde - Portugal
The Broadbent name has been synonymous with fine wine for more than six decades, beginning with the renowned career of British wine critic, writer, and auctioneer Michael Broadbent and continuing with his son, the importer Bartholomew Broadbent. Bartholomew’s deep roots in Portugal inspired him to create his own range of Ports, Madeiras and table wines. Broadbent’s vision was to produce the most reliable and traditional of all Vinho Verdes and to resolve the usual whine that Vinho Verde never tastes like it tastes in Portugal. The solution was twofold: to partner with a winery that had consistent production, and to ship the wines in refrigerated containers. The latter enables the wine to taste as fresh and spritzy as it would ever taste in Portugal, and since its launch in 2005, Broadbent Vinho Verde has rapidly earned the reputation as one of the finest Vinho Verdes.
+ 2016 Rickshaw - Pinot Noir - California
This RICKSHAW Pinot Noir is sourced from a variety of coastal cool-climate vineyards with a large percentage coming from the Sonoma Coast. The 2016 RICKSHAW Pinot Noir possesses kirsch and black cherry notes, cola and baking spices from the kiss of French oak it sees. A persistent core of sweet fruit extract balanced with bright acidity. Endlessly energetic, this Pinot is the ultimate versatile wine, working well for an aperitif to pairing with king salmon or skirt steak with chimichurri.
+ 2016 Bodegas Nekeas - El Chaparral de Vega Sindoa - Garnacha - Navarra, Spain
Thanks to its outstanding location, climate and geological characteristics, the Valley of Nekeas is one of Spain’s finest areas for the production of quality wine and olive oil. It is influenced by both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. This juicy garnacha is perfect for those warm Indian summer evenings.
